College student uses Twitter to return Ivanka Trump's lost earring
Thank heavens for social media-savvy college students.
Tragedy struck at the Republican National Convention this week when Ivanka Trump misplaced her long, white and elegantly tampon-esque earring. The next day, an Ohio student, who goes by Annabelle Marie on Twitter, somehow discovered it under Ivanka's seat.

After tweeting at Ivanka several times, Annabelle reached out to several television network employees, including Today's Savannah Guthrie.

Finally, Annabelle went for the gold, tweeting at four members of the Trump family as well as the convention's official Twitter account.
Brave Annabelle was going to return that earring — no matter how many @ replies it took.

At long last, Twitter took note, turning Annabelle's pleas into a Moment. This, we assume, caught the attention of Ivanka's team.
And at even longer last, Annabelle finally presented the earring to Ivanka herself.
"Only trying to be honest and kind here, life is good," she wrote.

In the end, this tale has a clear moral: if you want to get in touch with someone, tweet relentlessly.
