The restaurant, which will open in December, is the secondCaddyshack-themed venue operated by the Murray Bros. The first restaurant opened in St. Augustine, Florida in 2001, and boasts the tagline, "Eat, Drink, and Be Murray."

The location of Rosemont makes sense, given that the Murray brothers grew up in the nearby suburb of Wilmette, and worked as caddies at Indian Hill Club in Winnetka.

In fact, it was the brothers' caddying experience that inspired Brian Doyle-Murray to write the script for the 1980 golf comedy, in which Bill Murray famously starred as the gopher-hunting greenskeeper, Carl Spackler.

The new restaurant will boast 6,000 square feet of dining space with seating for up to 265 people, a bar with a plethora of TVs for watching sports, a retail area, and, get ready for it, a 350-square-foot golf simulation experience.

We can only hope it will be a gopher-free zone.
